Background of the Courses :
The department has been established from the academic year 2006-07
with the inception of a one year P.G. course namely � M. Ed. and two years M. P.
Ed. course in the year 2007-08. Since Government has not sanctioned any post so
far, the course is run on self-financing basis.

- The University has sent the proposal of Multi-Purpose Hall to the University Grants
Commission, New Delhi.
- The University has constructed a temporary Gymnasium Hall. This hall is facilitated
with all modern gymnastic equipments. The proposal to construct new Indoor Gymnasium
Hall is sent to the University Grants Commission, New Delhi recently.
Other Activities
- One month full time UGC sponsored NET/SET coaching class was conducted in May, 2008.
- Two days workshop on Research Methodology was organized in November, 2006.
- Three days workshop on NET/SET Examinations Guidance was organized in January, 2008.
- One Day Workshop on Research Proposal and Report Writting was organized in Septmber
2008.
Training And Placement
There is 100% Placement of M.Ed. student on there own , while the
first batch of M.P.Ed. is yet to pass out.
