      Along with the Science and Technology, Literature and Languages, the School of Social Sciences has emerged to consolidate the learning process at the University level. Consequently, all the advanced programmes (M.A., M.Phil and Ph.D.) are undertaken in the School of Social Sciences. The Changing era of globalization and its effect on the social system and the foreseeable challenges arising from the social, political, cultural and economical conditions are to be studied. Social sciences are aware to the younger generation about rising problems in society, of society and for society and how to deal with the situation. Social sciences are also aware about upcoming problems in future. Today, new dimensions in areas of research are available with the Social Sciences and Humanities disciplines. The School has not just been efficient in introducing, research but also peruses varied areas of research. The School of Social Sciences has well equipped infrastructure and imparts guidance for Competitive Exam, NET-SET, Carrier and training placement. We also provided advance studies in M.Phil and Ph.D. School also introduce bridge courses to conduct the students to get filling the gap between the subject knowledge through remedial courses.
