INDUSTRIAL TRAINING: Third year B. Tech. students are required to undergo training in reputed industries during summer vacation for the duration of six weeks (15th May to 30th June). The industrial training gives students first hand knowledge of industrial operation and an opportunity to appreciate real life technical problems.
TECHNICAL SEMINAR: The students are required to make OHP/L.C.D. power point presentations on fundamentals and advance topics related to their branch.
INDUSTRIAL TOUR: Final year students are required to visit industries located in different regions of India.
PROJECT ASSINGMENT: Final year students are given assignments to related recent developments and immerging trends in the field of chemical engineering and technology. The assignments include the empirical investigations/ dissertations coupled with techno economic evaluation studies.
ELECTIVES: Chemical engineering students have option to select subject covering diverse field such as energy resources and utilization, catalysis, bio-chemical/ environmental engineering. , Newer separation techniques etc as electives.
CONTINUOUS ACADAMIC ASSESSMENT: In addition to the performance evaluation of students at the end of the semesters, the university also follows a method of continuous assessment through two internal tests per semester. These enable students to update their performance & understand their strength & weakness.
